The Principles of Pleasure
Role: Animation Executive Producer
Narrated by Michelle Buteau, this three-episode docuseries combines sex, joy, and modern science to celebrate the complex world of pleasure. Each episode explores a different facet of pleasure, from debunking historic sex myths to examining how pleasure occurs in the mind and how we can better take control of our experience.
My animation studio, Mighty Oak, was selected as a creative partner for the project, ideating, researching, and producing more than 30 minutes of content using stop motion, collage, motion graphics, and three distinct styles of 2D animation.
The series earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Graphics and Animation in a Documentary.
